We experienced similar beauty here in Colorado at The Great Sand Dunes National Park. It was so beautiful – just a really cool place to spend the day. After hiking up several of the dunes, we watched people sand board down the dunes- only a few made it all the way down without wiping out! We went to the pistachio place too. We liked white Sands and there is a very nice state park outside Alamogordo, but the town is meh. And I learned the hard way, don’t go to the emergency room there if you fave the flu (not corona!). They hit my pocketbook hard!
